New on my Nook: Index

I love to read!

First, for fun. Give me a rainy (or sunny) day, a comfy chair, a hot cup of tea (or coffee), and I’m good for hours. To me, that’s an enjoyable way to pass the time.

Then, for work. I’m a librarian, surrounded by books all day. Yes!

As a librarian, I think it’s important to know what’s up-and-coming so I can provide better reader’s advisory services for our library patrons. Of course, there are more titles published than any one gal can read, or review.  “New on my Nook” is my way of alerting you to many of the titles that have peaked my interest. I have either received these titles via NetGalley or Edelweiss or I discovered them elsewhere and am *wishing* for a DRC (*hint, hint*).  I want to let you know what’s out there when it’s newly available even if I haven’t read (or finished reading) it yet. This is intended to be something of an early warning system, but in a good way.  If I select some of these titles for later review, I will link to and index those reviews. Enough background? Good. On to the index!

  1. New on my Nook: New releases, Dec 2013, Christian nonfiction
  2. New on my Nook: New releases, Dec 2013, juvenile, young adult

I hope you find something to add to your own to-read list.  Kimberly

I'd love to discuss this with you. What do you think?
