Kaleidoscope Green
by Kimberly Bower

crisp granny smith apples

sweet seedless grapes

a snip of fresh parsley

and little grass snakes

a pile of grass clippings

cold rain-drenched moss

a small four-leaf clover

and hot pepper sauce

a scoop of lime sherbet

small pods of peas

smooth bottle glass pieces

and sycamore trees

My world is a kaleidoscope of green.
