ocean
cerulean blue
crashing white-capped waves
living, moving, ebbing, flowing
great sea

Today’s poem is a cinquain.  I used the instant poetry form from Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC).  Here are the directions based on those I found on ETTC’s website:  Line 1, a one word title (or two syllables).  Line 2, a two-word phrase (or 4 syllables) describing the title.  Line 3, a three word phrase (or 6 syllables) describing actions of the word in your title.  Line 4, a four word phrase (or 8 syllables) describing feeling related to the topic.  Line 5, one word (or two syllables) that refer back to your title.  There isn’t a link directly to the cinquain template but you can find it by clicking on “cinquain” in the sidebar on ETTC’s site.
